Questions We Get A Lot...
"What kind of church is this?"
Crossroads is a Christian church whose doors are wide-open to everyone, regardless of background. We're a growing ministry, dedicated to reaching out to our community and also to creating a great family atmosphere when we gather. We strive to be Christ-centered, bible-based, and culturally aware. We put a high premium on great art as worship, including music, videos and drama.
"What should I expect on Sunday?"
You can expect to walk into a place full of people who are glad you came. You'll be greeted warmly in our lobby by our concerned Guest Services staff. They're there to help you feel right at home at Crossroads. You can grab a cup of coffee or tea and a snack, and then come find a seat in our gym/auditorium.
During the service, you'll hear upbeat, modern Christian worship music and we play it loud enough that you don't have to worry about missing a note or a word. We'll let you know from the stage how glad we are that you're with us, but we won't single you out or embarrass you in any way. There may be drama or videos; sometimes we have interviews or testimonies.
You'll hear one of our Pastors preach a sermon that is about a topic we all deal with and how the truth of the Holy Bible intersects that topic. You can follow along in your bible, but if you forget, we'll have bibles to share or you can read along with the scriptures right up on the big screens. We'll stick to right around 75 minutes and if you catch one of our staff or volunteers in the lobby after, we'll be glad to give you a tour or answer any questions you may have.
"What do I do with my kids?"
If you've brought kids under 6th Grade, you can go right to our Check-in Stations located directly in front of you as you walk in. They'll help you get your kids checked in (for their safety) and off to the right places. 6th graders and up are invited to worship along with you in the auditorium. We try very hard to design services that are inclusive of our young people. On Wednesday nights, Middle School and High School have their own programs at Crossroads.
