Thank you for your interest in Crossroads Church, an exciting new ministry for Norwalk. We are part of the Reformed Church in America, the oldest Protestant Denomination in America with a continuous history (for more information please go to the denomination's web site www.RCA.org). As such, at Crossroads Church you will find solid Biblical teaching, stability, and a desire to share the Gospel in practical ways.

Crossroads was launched in 2003. You may have read about this in The Des Moines Register. What you may not know is that 16 of our Launch Team households are Norwalk households, including my own.

In February 2003 we went door to door in Norwalk, asking our neighbors what the community needs in a church. Almost half of the 120 people we met didn't have church homes. We listened as they told us why they were not attending church. We learned that in many cases, their desires were the same as ours, and more importantly, the same as God's design for His church.

Our main goal is stated in our name. We're here for everyone who has ever stood at a crossroads in life and asked, "What do I really believe? Which way should I go?" We're here for everyone who has longed for a church where Christian values and contemporary life come together.

Today's society is telling us that everything is "relative". That there are no concrete answers. This explains why so many people today are struggling for answers. Crossroads Church is a Bible-based Church which shares the concrete answers to life's difficult situations. We believe that the Bible holds the solution to our struggles and explains life's purpose.

Check out our Sunday morning worship at our new ministry center located at 8203 Beardsley. It sits on 20 acres just northeast of Norwalk on the corner of Beardsley and 80th over looking downtown Des Moines. Following the service we offer a time of study for all ages called "ReFuel".

Worship starts at 9:30AM, but we'll be serving coffee and cookies from 8:45AM to 11:00AM. Dress casually and expect good music and great fellowship. We have a nursery and a separate kid-friendly service (Kid Junction) with activities for children ages 3 years - Kindergarten.
